VMCO is proud to note that our Managing Partner, Mr Karan Mehra, and his colleague were able to attain a partly favourable order in a case against an Insurance Company, pending before the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (‘NCDRC’). The case was preferred after the Opposing Party decided to repudiate the claim of our Clients on several grounds.
Upon examining the evidence on record and hearing the strong submissions made by Mr Mehra, the Hon’ble NCDRC was pleased to hold that the repudiation was not based on valid grounds.
This order resulted in great relief to our Clients, whose claim was based on the damage caused to their goods by the 2015 Chennai Floods.
